Abstract:
This article describes the husbandry and successful reproduction of Varanus albigularis microstictus in captivity. A total of 88 hatchlings have been produced over two successive years by a male and two females through a partnership between the author and the Mátra Museum. A further clutch of eggs laid by a second group of V. albigularis microstictus in the author’s collection is currently
incubating at the time of this writing.
